What are the maintenance and care methods for bathroom brushes?

1. Cleaning and disinfection
After each use of the bathroom brush, rinse the bristles thoroughly with clean water to remove residual detergent and dirt. For stubborn stains, soak in warm water and brush gently with a neutral detergent. Avoid using acidic or chlorine-containing bleach to prevent corrosion of the bristle material. If the brush head has been in contact with a moldy area, it is recommended to soak it in a disinfectant containing alcohol or chloric acid for 10 minutes, then rinse and dry. It is recommended to perform a deep clean every 1-2 weeks.

2. Drying and mildew prevention
After cleaning, the brush head should be separated from the handle and hung upside down in a ventilated place to dry to avoid mold growth in a humid environment. If the bathroom is not well ventilated, use a dry cloth to absorb moisture or use a hair dryer in cold air mode to accelerate drying. Spray anti-mildew spray on the bristles regularly, or place a dehumidification bag or activated carbon bag in the storage area to absorb moisture.

3. Maintenance of the brush head
If the bristles of the bathroom brush fall over, the roots turn black, or emit an odor, it needs to be replaced immediately to avoid reducing the cleaning efficiency due to deformation of the bristles. Do not use the brush head to clean sharp objects to prevent the bristles from breaking. Keep away from high temperature sources when storing to prevent the plastic handle from deforming.
