What is a window scraper?

A window scraper is a tool specifically designed for cleaning glass. It's primarily used to remove water stains, detergent, and dirt from windows, mirrors, shower doors, or car windows, quickly restoring a clean, clear surface. It typically consists of a handle and a replaceable rubber blade. The blade is soft and flexible, adhering to the glass surface and leaving no marks. To use, spray the glass with detergent or wipe it with a damp cloth, then scrape it from top to bottom or in a single direction to avoid residue from back-and-forth scraping. Some window scrapers also come with a spray bottle, allowing you to spray water while scraping, improving cleaning efficiency. This tool is more labor-efficient than wiping with a rag and avoids water marks and fiber residue, making it suitable for cleaning large areas of glass. If the rubber blade becomes old or worn, it can be replaced separately, extending the tool's lifespan.
